Role Plays, Bear Hunts and More

This week all the children have continued to find out about People who help us in our every day lives.
They have enjoyed building houses and fire engines using junk modelling. Practising their fine motor skills using scissors, paintbrushes and pens to create their wonderful models.
Oaks have been learning their new sounds C and K and have been able to identify the correct pictures for the corresponding sounds.

We have made good use of the fine weather recently taking the opportunity to go on a bear hunt, where the children explored different ways of moving and Expressing Themselves, as part of Children’s Mental Health Week.

The hospital in Acorn room has proved to be popular with lots of bears being mended with bandages. We may have lots of potential Doctors in the future as they have all enjoyed using stethoscopes and pretending to administer First Aid to each other.
What an exciting week they all have had.
