An egg-cellent week for Early Years

The children have all been very ‘egg’cited this week as we have had lots of activities relating to Easter. The children in both Acorns and Oaks have iced Easter bunny biscuits, Acorns have made some fabulous painted carrot cards and Oaks got adventurous with their Easter cards, making baskets and marble printed eggs.

During other activities, they have explored number recognition and have been learning the new sound for RWI ‘e’. Oak class have practised name writing and have shown some great fine motor skills for letter formation.

Having had lots of cakes to choose from this week already, the children are now very much looking forward to their special Easter egg hunt.
