A Langley Sport First – Girls Cricket Season Begins

A Langley Sport first this week as we opened our Cricket season with the Girls’ 1st team hosting Norwich High School for Girls.

The game was both tense and competitive right to the last ball with the game finishing 153 to 154. Some impressive performances with the bat from May and Georgie and Dana taking 2 wickets in the final over to keep it exciting to the end.

It was great to see support from a number pupils, staff and parents over the course of the afternoon and it was an inspirational performance for our younger cricketers watching from the sides.
