Announcing the new name for our Café: ‘The Green Room’
We are pleased to announce the name of our new 6th form Café, ‘The Green Room’.
The thought behind the name is that green is the Langley colour, the name ‘The Green Room’ is a place where actors meet before a performance, which is a link to our Performance Hall, situated in the Alston Centre which is where the café is situated. The sixth form café is also a place where our 6th formers meet before they move onto bigger things in life, much like the actors meeting in ‘The Green Room’ before a performance. Green also symbolises renewal, peace, calm and growth, all things that we hope the café brings to the Langley Community.
The café is open to students and staff with food available to purchase during break and lunch. There is also discount for those who bringing in reusable cups to promote reduced waste.
