Children’s author Jennifer Bell visits the Senior School
Children’s author, Jennifer Bell, visited the Senior School to give a talk on her books and her inspiration for writing. Senior School pupils in Years 6 and 7 as well as children from Loddon Junior School were given the opportunity to ask questions, meet the author, and purchase a signed copy of her latest books.
Reading matters because it can have a lifelong positive impact on a child, affecting their health and wellbeing, creativity and educational outcomes.
Langley encourages reading for pleasure to take advantage of these positive associations, and author visits help to promote this. We hope Jennifer’s visit will inspire pupils to pursue more reading and creative writing!
