The RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch

Pre-Prep pupils enjoyed a special assembly by Mrs Skipper all about the Big Garden Birdwatch – a campaign by the RSPB. The children were encouraged to get closer to nature to learn more about birds in their environment and identify common species.

Transition Class went on a special bird hunt through the School grounds and enjoyed ticking off their sightings. They also made paper plate robins and blackbirds, which they flew through the woods.

Essie M said, “I can see a Robin over there!”
Aryan P said, “I can hear the birds up high in the trees!”
George D said, “Look! They’ve made a nest up there for their home!”
