A snapshot of life in boarding

When we recently asked Head of Boarding, Mrs Codling, what her highlight of the week was, she said, “It has to be our swimming trip! It was a great success and the boarders were fab. We walked to the private pool owned by the manor house behind the school. The pool itself was beautiful; good facilities and nice and warm. We had an hour swim before walking back to our boarding house. We are hoping this is going to be a regular activity.”

In other news, the boarding house has now been completely decorated, with just photography to be added to the walls.

To mark Chinese New Year,  the boarding house was decked out and boarders also enjoyed delicious, freshly-prepared Chinese food in the evening.

The girls organised a Galantine’s Day, which replaced Valentine’s Day, and celebrated the friendships within the house. It’s certain been a fantastic half term, and we are looking forward to the second half too.
