Brain Day
Today our Upper and Lower Sixth Psychology and Biology students took part in Brain Day, an introductory tutorial In Neuroscience led by Dr Guy Sutton from Medical Biology Interactive.
The students took part in seminars about a range of topics from ‘The Working Brain’ where they heard about brain anatomy and brain damage, the neuroanatomy of memory and language and the brain to ‘Is There a Criminal Brain?, learning about the effects of brain damage on behavior.
They also had the opportunity to watch the dissection of a sheep’s brain and see for themselves the structure of the brain.
