Children’s Mental Health Week

The fun dance session
For Children’s Mental Health Week, Prep pupils had the opportunity to take part in something special every day.
The week began with a lunchtime walk with the School’s much-loved wellbeing dog Honey. During morning break on Tuesday, activities in Big School included exploring art, feelings and emotions. On Wednesday, the children created fruit pots and planted seeds outside. A fun dance session in the Sports Hall on Thursday saw everyone moving freely, happily and confidently. To round off the week, pupils joined Honey for a wellbeing walk on the last day of the half term.
Also this week, the children have been designing superhero outfits for Honey the dog, writing emotion leaves to go on a special tree, and making wellbeing heart necklaces. Well done to everyone for embracing Children’s Mental Health Week as it is such an important time.
