Congratulations to William for winning the Mini Sprint Series Boys B Category in the National Sprint Championships in Kayaking.
This season he has taken part in the British Canoeing Mini Sprint Series. This is four-sprint regattas held at Holme Pierrepoint in Nottingham, in K1 (single), K2 (2-person kayak) & K4 (4-person kayak) races. For each race they are awarded points and at the end of the season the overall series winner in the A & B categories are awarded medals.
In essence, it’s an Under 12’s group that race over 200m and 500m during the National Sprint Regatta’s. Which is super fun, but they also get to watch Team GB kayakers’ race and U23’s trials.
He was presented his medal Norwich Canoe Club this weekend and the Langley community is very proud of this achievement.
