House Cross Country and the spirit of sport

In glorious sunshine, House Cross Country took place at our Senior School this week, involving all Year groups in what is always an eagerly anticipated annual competition.

There were three races; junior, intermediate, and senior. While they weren’t running in their age category, pupils cheered on the other runners, which also included some of our staff members. House mascots dazzled in their fantastic outfits in the autumn sun, offering lots of encouragement to everyone involved.

Huge congratulations to all our runners and of course to the overall winning House Crome!

Head of Langley Sport Mr Field comments, “Like House Music before half term, House Cross Country saw our school community coming together, with staff and pupils supporting each other on the same playing field. The event reminded me of all the reasons why I love sport and how much there is to love about Langley.”
