Sixth Form student set for the States

Upper Sixth student Caitlin has been successful in her application for a full scholarship by the English Speaking Union to attend Culver Academy, USA, for a year. After completing the rigorous application process, Caitlin was selected by Culver to join their Class of ’22.

Caitlin will be starting at Culver in August and will spend the year taking opportunities such as playing Ice Hockey, Volleyball, Lacrosse and continuing her hobby of Fencing. We have no doubt that she will keep us well informed of her progress and the opportunities that she is able to enjoy.

Culver is in Indiana, some two hours south of Chicago and has produced Oscar-winning Actors and Screenwriters, Olympic medallists and Grammy-winning musicians. We know that Caitlin will fit right in.

This is the second time that a Langley Student has been selected as a recipient of such an award, and is unlikely to be the last. Well done Caitlin.
