PTFA (Prep School)

Parents, Teachers and Friends Association

The PTFA are parent volunteers – with children throughout Langley School – who organise family-friendly events such as the Summer fete, the fabulous Fireworks night, as well as parent-only events including fun music and general knowledge quizzes.

Our aim is to organise functions that promote fellowship among parents, current and former pupils, and the School, all in a good social atmosphere. Activities are organised by a committee elected from the parents and staff, run by them and other volunteers from the School’s community. Any help is gratefully received whether it is financial, donation of items or offers of assistance, and you don’t have to be a member of the PTFA to help.

During the past, much has been achieved and there have been a number of very successful activities, combining social events with fund-raising. Through this, the PTFA of has been able to provide funds for facilities that are outside the scope of pure education and to direct benefit of the pupils.

The PTFA would like to invite all parents to come to events; volunteer when able, suggest ideas for future occasions and generally use the organisation to further the enjoyment of everyone’s years at the beautiful Langley Prep School. The idea is to have fun while fundraising.
