I am Aynur Elham and I’m the Head of Mandarin

Where did you join Langley from/what was your previous role?

I joined Langley from China and I use to work at a university.

Tell us a little bit about yourself and your role at Langley…

I speak both Mandarin and Cantonese. At Langley, I only teach mandarin, which we start from Year 6, and have as an option at GCSE and A-Level, something that is very exciting. 

What do you enjoy most about your role at Langley?

What I enjoy most about my role at Langley is that Mandarin is the most different (not difficult) and special language. So it is very enjoyable language to introduce and teach to pupils and students.

Any hobbies/interests outside of school?

I play some piano and I like singing.
