Where did you join Langley from/what was your previous role?
Hellesdon High School, Teacher of Mathematics
Tell us a little bit about yourself and your new role at Langley…
I am in my fourth year of teaching and am really looking forward to my role as teacher of mathematics at Langley Senior School.
A little bit about me, my parents are both Iranian and moved to Norway which is where I was born. When I was young we moved to Norwich, and I currently live here with my wife and our cat, Patch. Through my education I discovered a passion for mathematics, and I hope to inspire students in the subject the same way that my teachers inspired me.
What are you most looking forward to in your new role at Langley?
I am looking forward to working with motivated, hard-working students across the year groups at Langley Senior School. I’m keen to get involved in the extra-curricular activities the school offers such as enrichment and working with students in different contexts – I’m already having a blast playing table tennis!
Any hobbies/interests outside of school?
I enjoy going on hikes and being active. This summer we hiked up Mount Snowdon (for the second time!). I also enjoy playing board games and I am always happy to have a chat about them, I would love to start a board game enrichment activity.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself.
I have a few fun facts about me. I can speak Farsi,. I lived in Israel for a year and I love ketchup, I would have it with every meal if I could!
