Minibeast adventures continue in Early Years

The children in our in our Early Years Oak and Acorn rooms have continued with their Minibeast adventures, looking at the story of the Very hungry caterpillar as well as exploring the outside environment for minibeasts and discovering their secret world.

In Acorn class, pupils have also been using observational skills to look at colours and how they change. While in Oaks, children got creative with playdough, creating caterpillars and butterflies. We have also all been working on new sounds ‘l’ and ‘h’ and the children have used their listening skills to hear and match the sound at the beginning of words.
