Practicing motor skills in Nursery

This week in Nursery we have enjoyed working on fine motor skills and gross motor skills. We have done a lot of mark making, cutting, sticking, balancing, and getting creative with our Christmas cards.

Hannah said, “I made that reindeer,” and Elliot said, “Snip, snip, snip” as he worked.

We created our own ‘going on a bear hunt’ storyline, where we used mark making to draw the different areas. All the children joined in with saying “We are going on a bear hunt and we’re not scared.”

We also had great fun playing with balloons, working as a team to keep them in the air and not allowing them to touch the floor. We then watched what happened if we taped the balloon to each other with our friends.
