Norfolk Schools Cross Country

It was an absolute pleasure to host the Norfolk Schools Cross Country event here at Langley Park this week, and to welcome pupils from schools across the whole of Norfolk. It was a crisp and clear morning, making for excellent cross country conditions and it was the first time the event has been run since 2019.

It was wonderful to see pupils pushing themselves to the limits and competing against old rivals and new. Langley School had representatives across the age groups and we are very proud all of our runners. In the Minor Boys, Finley (Prep School, Owls, Year 6) won the event in emphatic style and in the same age group for the girls, Sophie Mutimer (Prep School, Hawks, Year 7) finished strongly in fifth place, both of them qualifying for the East Anglian Championships later this term. Well done to you both and we look forward to seeing how you progress.
