Experimenting with shape in Nursery

DSC02743Bluebell Nursery had another busy week, looking at more vehicles and what shapes we can find when we look at them. Oaks Class pupils took turns to pick shapes from the shape draw and created their own vehicles.

Rudy said, “I made a car with a square and circles.”

Acorns Class enjoyed watching how their movements make marks on paper when using paint brushes, cars, trains and bikes.

George said, “Wow look at the yellow paint and red paint,” and Jude said, “It is mixing.”

The children also enjoyed playing in the new roleplay area, which is a fire station, doing a fabulous job when practising our fire drill. They all walked to our new meeting point and gave themselves a big cheer.

The Children also sat for a story time, in which Harrison retold stories by looking at the pictures.
