Our busy bees in Nursery

Acorns and Oaks
This week in Bluebell Nursery, Acorn and Oak Classes went on a Nature Walk Scavenger Hunt to see what they could find in their outdoor environment, including along the riverbank. The children worked like Mac and Mabel, the collaborative twins, to complete their hunt. Isabella said, “Look a flower,” and Rudy said, “Look it’s a spiders web.” The children also learnt about farm animals this week as part of our All Creatures Great and Small topic.

Seedlings
In Seedlings, children have been enjoying free flow play indoors and outside too, including playing musical instruments in the sunshine, which was a favourite activity. Indoor play has been very sensory based, with activities such as singing and water play. Like Acorns and Oaks, the Seedling children have also been busy making something very special for a loved one, but nothing can be revealed yet!
