Pre-Prep explore pond dipping, mazes and capacity

Pre-Prep has had another busy week with many fun activities.

All the classes have made Father’s Day cards, and it has been fascinating to see the different designs that the other classes have thought of. These have all gone home to be hidden in preparation for Sunday!

The children in Reception have participated in lots of fun outdoor activities. The pond dipping was greeted with great enthusiasm, and the children managed to find a lot of pond life, the favourite being the water boatman. They also had fun exploring the maze, following the different paths that lead to the oak tree.

Year One has been learning about capacity, an excellent thing to have done on one of this year’s hottest days!

Year Two had a fun trip to How Hill. They returned full of enthusiasm about all the outdoor activities they had experienced.
