‘The provision of extra-curricular activities is excellent. The wide variety of activities extends the strong sporting, artistic, musical and dramatic areas of the curriculum.’ ISI
Here at Langley Prep School we offer children a plethora of opportunity to develop interests and talents outside the classroom. Our extensive grounds provide the perfect space for many hobbies and clubs, which run at the end of the school day. This adds to the flexibility of our evening, for late pick up, but also greatly adds to our wider curriculum.
While traditional games of cricket, rugby, netball, hockey, athletics, tennis and swimming are included as part of the P.E. and games programme; pupils are encouraged to join at least one hobby group or club, with many children choosing several. A full Hobbies and clubs vary programme is offered throughout the year, with variation each term.
The options are endless and vary from Cooking to Coding, Fishing to Chess, from Hama Beads to Rock Band to Clay Pigeon Shooting. The extensive Hobbies programme means that children embrace things they might not have even heard of it; the experiences challenge them, ignites new passions, and presents wonderful opportunities.
