PTFA Summer Fete Success

After a joyous Pre-Prep sports day, the annual PTFA summer fete took place in the walled garden on the last day of half term.

The sun was shining as the crowds descended to enjoy the various stalls. Alongside the traditional hook-a-duck, tombola, hog roast and refreshments, there was also a very popular Teddy Rehome stall, a lovely plant stall, an opportunity to learn circus skills and Bert’s Amazing Creatures. The children in years five upwards also collaborated to create some fantastic stalls.

Parents were treated to excellent vocal performances throughout the afternoon from the Pre-Prep choir, Prep choir, and Magna Voce.

Thank you to all those who assisted in the planning and running of the event, particularly the PTFA, the parent volunteers on the day, Miss Briggs, Mrs Skipper and Mrs Godfrey for their music contributions, and the estate’s team for setting up and dismantling the event.

The money raised in the afternoon will be announced once finalised.
