Reception Trip to Roarr Dinosaur Park

As part of our topic, the children in Reception had a wonderful trip to the Dinosaur Park last week. They enjoyed the dinosaur trail and were very good at identifying and naming all the dinosaurs. They had lots of fun collecting dinosaur stamps and getting a medal at the end of the visit. 

The children loved digging for fossils and observing all the small animals that live at the dinosaur park. The Brachiosaurus slide was very popular by the children and staff!

Back in the classroom, the children talked about what they liked best and wrote sentences on prepared dinosaur paper, working like Resilient Rogers, one of our Growth Mindset Characters.
