Special Remembrance Services

Langley marked Remembrance with a series of poignant events, continuing long-standing traditions that the school proudly carries out each year.

On Friday 11th November, Prep pupils attended a special service at St Edmunds Church in Taverham. On the Saturday, Langley CCF cadets laid a wreath and played The Last Post on the bugle as part of its involvement in the annual service at the War Memorial Cottages in Mousehold, Norwich. On Remembrance Sunday, the CCF led a service of their own in a packed-out chapel, on-site at Loddon.

In the build up to the events, all areas of the school spent time talking and learning about Remembrance, including our youngest ones in Nursery, who made poppy biscuits and drew poppy shapes.
