Year 6 and 11 visit Gressenhall

Year 6 and Year 11 English pupils this week visited Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse, learning about life during the Victorian era.

Dressed in some brilliant costumes, the pupils met the Master, School Mistress, Workhouse Inmate and the Matron. They also engaged enthusiastically in a debate about Victorian values.

The day provided excellent historical context for the study of ‘A Christmas Carol.’
