Transition class visit Holt Country Park
Our transition class had a wonderful trip to Holt Country Park last week.
The children explored the woodland, created nature crowns, and decorated bird houses.
Aryan remembered, “Butterflies lay eggs under nettles!”
Following a picnic lunch and playing in the playground, we went on a minibeast hunt and found many bugs. Arlo told us, “I found a wireworm!”
The children enjoyed looking at the minibeasts we collected in the tray. We spoke about how they moved, “Centipedes move so fast!” Tom declared. Finally, the children enjoyed an ice cream of their choice.
Lots of happy Transition children!
