On behalf of the boarding team, welcome!

As parents ourselves, we make sure you feel completely at home and at ease here at Langley, within our safe, friendly and supportive environment.

All boarders learn to live and share with others, and this handbook sets out the part you have to play as well as that of our staff and other pupils and students. It’s important to grasp the wonderful opportunity ahead of you, while also having fun throughout your time here.

Here at Langley, we aim to create a secure and happy environment in an atmosphere which is relaxed yet purposeful. We create conditions in which the needs of the individual are recognised, as well as encourage pupils and students to take increasing responsibility for themselves and as they become older, to take responsibility for others too. We also aim to create a community in which people are treated with respect, sensitivity and consideration.
