Year 10 visit to the Sainsbury Centre
Last week Year 10 artists visited the Sainsbury Centre to participate in a drawing workshop to develop their skills and visit the collection.
We were fortunate to have access to the new ‘Visions of Ancient Egypt’ exhibition which featured over 150 works drawn from collections in the UK and internationally which examined how ancient Egypt has shaped our cultural imagination. Our pupils were able to experience a variety of art and design to inspire their own work, including painting, sculpture, writing, fashion and architecture, alongside photography, film and installation art. The pupils then included this in their sketchbook research.
