At the end of term Mr Edwards demonstrated introductory print techniques to Year 3 resulting in a fine set of daffodil cards – I hope mums liked them.

Year 4 Gargoyles

After designing, making/sculpting, and painting, Year 4 have completed their Gargoyle/Flaminal sculptures. Most have gone home with a few to be collected in the Trinity Term.

Year 5 Beautiful Butterflies

A super display has appeared covering most of the wall space in Big School. Year 5 have now completed their final designs based upon the ‘Insects in Art’ theme. Lots of materials and techniques have been used to complete the butterfly inspired pieces, ranging from pencil, pen, pastel, collage, and spray paint.

Creative fun throughout…

The woodland and outside classroom areas have been fully embracing the much-appreciated arrival of spring with birdsong and a variety of woodland flowers. Pupils have been very creative using a variety of materials to adorn and decorate the woodland scene.

Mr Edwards has been very impressed with the Viking longship creations that have sailed his way and any artwork that has been created in a pupil’s own time.

Puppets created by pupils for the Poetry Festival.
