Our values

We are inclusive and we believe in the individual. The Langley family celebrates kindness, curiosity, integrity and confidence, and it’s within this community that each individual can flourish.

The Langley education is nurtured through challenge and opportunity. Attributes are formed through them and our young people are aspirational, wanting to make a positive difference to others, their communities and the world. The ‘Langley Green’ is threaded through the uniform, the parkland sites and our commitment to each other.

We see intellectual curiosity (STEM, Creative Arts and Languages), Community (internal and external), the Environment (role in wellbeing) as key areas to explore during your time at Langley. Exploring these areas, while demonstrating creativity, adaptability and resilience, helps to prepare you for life after Langley, so that you leave us world-ready.

Langley is aligned to the Church of England and each pupil attends a chapel service each week. However, the school celebrates those of all faiths, and no faith, in the community. Langley is an Armed Forces-friendly organisation, having formally pledged its support via the Armed Forces Covenant, and is also a bronze award holder within the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS).

“We chose Langley because smaller class sizes mean more opportunity to thrive at what is loved, and for one-to-one support to strengthen and nurture where needed, to challenge and expand thinking, experience and horizons. As a parent I have not been disappointed.” Langley Senior School parent

“At Langley they are a warm, highly capable and caring collective, a community, but equally a place, a space where the individual is seen, heard, and nurtured to develop into the best version they choose to be.” Langley Senior School parent
