A nurturing start to Early Years education in Loddon

Opening in 2025, our Bluebell Nursery in Loddon, located at Langley Senior School, provides a holistic approach to Early Years education for children aged 6 months to 4 years. Serving families in Loddon and the wider South Norfolk area, our nursery provides a supportive environment where children can explore, grow, and thrive from the very start of their educational journey.

We recognise that these Early Years are a crucial stage in their development so every interaction and activity is planned with intention. As part of our core ethos, we adapt the experience to meet the needs of the individual. From providing hands-on experiences to encourage independence to child-ley play to spark discovery and curiosity and opportunities to explore the great outdoors, our experienced staff care about every aspect of a child’s development.

Our nursery environment in Loddon is thoughtfully organised into four distinct areas, each tailored to a specific stage of development:

• Seedlings – a gentle, nurturing space for babies (6–14 months)
• Acorns – encouraging movement and discovery (14–24 months)
• Oaks – building confidence and independence (2–3 years)
• Woodlands – preparing for the transition to school (3–4 years)

Bluebell Nursery is open all year round, with an option for term-time-only for those parents who have children at Langley School. The government’s 30 hours funding is available at Bluebell Nursery.
