Langley School is an independent co-ed day and boarding school in Norfolk with two 100-acre campuses, both featuring beautiful woodland, grounds and space to explore. At our Prep School in Taverham, we start at Nursery and go up to Year 8 (6 months to 13 years old). At our Senior School in Loddon, we go from Year 6 to Upper Sixth (10 to 18 years old) and we offer boarding facilities on a full boarding, weekly boarding and flexi-boarding basis.
We are experts. In 2024 our Nursery was classed as Ofsted outstanding, and our Senior School was described by ISI inspectors as an environment of ‘trust and inclusivity’. Langley School has been recognised in The Times and The Sunday Times Parent Power Guide 2025, listing the best schools in the UK, and published on 6 December 2024. (Subscription required for link)
We are in demand. Also in 2024 we expanded our Nursery and opened a brand new room, with a significant increase in numbers in our ever-popular 6-month to 4-year old setting.
We are a family. Our international boarding community is known as a ‘home away from home’ by the tight-knit group who range from day and flexi boarders, to weekly and full-time boarders. Whatever the format of boarding, your child will belong.
We are unique. The Langley Football Academy (LFA) is run by ex-professionals, and programmes like our Combined Cadet Force (CCF) offer pupils endless, unique opportunities around every corner.
We are the future. Our Sixth Form students are prepared for life after Langley with career support and links to an extensive alumni network, helping create the next generation of leaders. Excellence is there for the taking.
“Langley is a special place, full of people who care deeply about our community with a strong sense of family. Our stunning green campus locations are wonderful canvases that allow children space to learn and play.”
Mr Simon Cooke, Headmaster, Langley Senior School
“Langley is a community of opportunity and excellence. Our values of kindness, confidence, curiosity and integrity are the base from which everything flows. We are preparing our young people for an ever-changing world, so we emphasise creativity, resilience and adaptability within our curriculum.”
Mr Roger Outwin-Flinders, Headmaster, Langley Prep School
