Bluebell Nursery

Welcome to Bluebell Nursery, part of the Langley family.

Our Bluebell Nursery is the start of the Langley journey and is based at our Taverham site. Children have access to the 100 acres of stunning woodland grounds.

Starting from age 6 months, at Bluebell Nursery your child’s day will be filled with lots of opportunities to have fun, learn, play, laugh and relax too. Each class setting within the Nursery encourages your child’s development as they grow from a seedling to an acorn to an oak.

Our nursery is divided into rooms, each designed to support and develop your child as they grow.

We have three rooms in our first Nursery building which is registered with Ofsted:

Our Seedlings room offers a calm, caring and nurturing environment that is fully set up to help your baby feel settled.

We aim to meet your child’s individual needs; all our babies have planned but flexible activities to stimulate them in a fun environment, working around patterns in line with those at home.

We work closely with parents to keep you informed about feeding, eating, changing and sleeping. This is supported by Tapestry – an online portal that you can log into securely to see your child’s ‘learning journey.’

Our ratio is 3 children to 1 adult in Seedlings.

In our Acorn room, children embark on the next phase of their developmental journey, engaging with our ambitious curriculum as they grow.

Within this space, we prioritise the three key learning domains:
– Physical Development
– Personal and Social Development
– Communication

Here, children commence the cultivation of independent life skills in a calm and nurturing setting.

Encouraged by the qualified and nurturing staff, as your child grows, activities are carefully planned to support their individual development.
In Oaks, children will explore, discover, learn and develop the skills they need for life.

In Oaks classroom, we continue to develop the three prime areas of learning whilst preparing children for their move to our Woodland Nursery, which prepares them for their journey into school.

Woodlands Nursery

Woodland Nursery houses our very own Bluebell Town; a classroom with highly developed technology and a free flow outside exploration area for children to access. throughout the day.

The focus in the Woodland Nursery classrooms is to continue to support and nurture the children and emphasise learning through play.

Your child will have lots of fun with messy and creative play, in Outdoor Learning sessions they will explore our woodland, with a
little more emphasis on encouraging children to become independent and getting them ready for the move up to Reception.

When children move into Woodland Nursery we require them to attend a minimum of three days per week.

Funding Options

Nursery fees are chargeable on a monthly basis, but are subject to the same termly notice period as the main School.

Term time only fees are available for parents with children in our Pre-Prep or Prep School.

We accept a maximum of 3 hours per day of funded hours. Nursery runs from 08:00 –18:00 each over 48 weeks per year. The daily fee covers attendance from 08:30 – 17:30 each day, early drop off and late collection are available for an additional fee.

From April 2024 Bluebell Nursery will offer:

2-3 Years: 15 hours funding
3-4 Years: 15 hours funding.
