Pre-Prep Well-being

Alongside trained mental health first aiders, a training programme is in place to equip all staff to ensure our pastoral provision is outstanding.

In Pre-Prep, children are in the care of their Class Teacher, who will provide them with a point of daily contact, monitor their welfare and communicate with parents and families. We have our own Time 4 U room, where children are supported both developmentally and emotionally.

Morning assemblies encompass Personal, Social and Health and Relationship Education matters, and provide an opportunity to enhance the community life.

Positive mental health and well-being is also encouraged through our six ‘Growth Mindset Superheroes’, who help children reflect on their learning and individual development. In every classroom in Pre-Prep, you will see Resilient Roger, Creative Connie, Independent Ivy, Peter Participator and the Collaborative Twins, Mac and Mabel.
