Life in Bluebell Nursery

Based at our Taverham site, our Ofsted ‘outstanding’ Bluebell Nursery at Langley School is the very start of the Langley journey.

We welcome children from 6 months upwards into our setting, which is made up of four rooms. Each one is filled with opportunities to have fun, learn, play, laugh and relax; all while thoughtfully encouraging your child’s development.

Seedlings (6 months to approximately 16 months)
Acorns (16 to 24 months)
Oaks (2 to 3 years)
Woodlands (3 to 4 years)

Holistic approach

Parents recognise and adore our focus on the individual. When you see a child at Bluebell Nursery engaging in an activity, know that the staff will have discussed three things; the intention for the activity: how to implement it, and the positive impact it will have on the child. There is never just ‘playtime’; everything is considered with thought and attention to a child’s development.

Our curriculum

We have developed and implemented our own curriculum, alongside the Early Years Development Matters Foundation Framework, and it is based on nurture, growth, exploration and discovery.

Our range of everyday activities include an early introduction to phonics through ‘Read, Write, Inc.’, daily Maths investigations, outdoor learning, music, dance and physical education. Your child will build their knowledge and understanding through focusing on half-termly topics and exploring their own interests.
