International Support At Langley

Our Head of Boarding is a superb communicator and our international boarding families are always pleased with the updates received. We keep you fully up to date about your child settling in, and the progress they make as they embrace life at Langley.

Support from the wider boarding team comes in the form of Houseparents, dedicated Pathways staff, Resident Grads and Gap students, all of whom take everyone under their wing. The support team appreciates the many obstacles and challenges that youngsters face today, and the team can be relied on for care and compassion. They are also a great source of fun, with a relaxed and approachable manner.

In the boarding community, older students assist in the running of the boarding houses, so there is peer-to-peer support on offer. Student representatives also promote the views and issues raised by boarders, so that everyone has a voice and everyone is heard.

Kindness, curiosity, integrity and confidence are values passed on from student to student at Langley, and are celebrated throughout the whole boarding community. We want all our boarders to be happy, and that’s why each pupil is welcomed into the family with open arms, so that they can show kindness, curiosity, integrity and confidence themselves.
