Swimming sessions for children Year 1-Year 8 at Langley Prep School, Taverham

Help your child grow in confidence, improve their swimming technique, and develop essential water safety skills with Swim Hub’s swimming sessions.

Led by an experienced swimming coach, these 30-minute lessons are designed to support children of different abilities in a fun, calm, and encouraging environment. With small class sizes, every child receives the attention they need to make progress, whether they are building confidence in the water or refining their strokes.

Upcoming Summer Swim Hub Sessions

Our summer programme offers a range of swimming sessions for children from Year 1 to Year 8.

Children will work on key swimming skills, stroke development, technique, confidence, and water safety awareness. For older children in Years 6–8, we are also offering Rookie Lifeguard sessions, giving them the chance to learn valuable lifesaving skills and develop a stronger understanding of safety in and around water.

Frequently Asked Questions

Swim Hub sessions are open to children in Years 1–8. Children do not need to be current Langley pupils to take part.
There will be Learn to Swim sessions and Rookie Lifeguard sessions available. Rookie Lifeguard sessions are suitable for older children in Years 6–8.
Each lesson lasts 30 minutes.
Lessons cost £9 per 30-minute session.
Yes. An adult must remain poolside for the duration of the lesson.
