A Pathway for Every Pupil

Here at Langley, all students can explore the best academic path for them, whether they have a good grasp on what they want to study, or they want to keep their options open. We offer a range of courses for all students which help them explore their interests but also challenge them. This offering includes a range of subjects including Maths, English, Politics, Photography and Fine Art.

We also offer revision conferences, Model United Nations opportunities, debating and international trips, including to places like Gambia, Iceland, Morocco, Zanzibar, New York and Washington DC.

Alongside our wide range of subjects, we also offer a range of BTEC courses and professional qualifications, aiming to provide you with a Sixth Form experience tailored to your needs.

Recent Sixth Form pupils have progressed to a wide range of exciting next steps, including studying Law and Mechanical Engineering at university, beginning a Childcare apprenticeship and playing football alongside further academic studies. These varied destinations reflect the breadth of pathways available to our pupils and the support we provide to help each young person move confidently towards their future.

Langley offers exceptional opportunities to pursue individual passions. Students can complete an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), choose from over 80 enrichment activities each term, and benefit from sector-leading sports provision, including the renowned Langley Football Academy and Langley Rugby Academy, where elite coaching is combined with academic study.

With outstanding facilities for the Arts, competitive sport, CCF and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Langley provides experiences that develop confidence, leadership and ambition.

At Langley, we make the most of our status as an independent Sixth Form near Norwich to go one step further with the support we provide our students. We believe in life experience as well as academia. So, every day (apart from Friday), your final session of the day will be Enrichment. Each term, you choose from more than 80 options, from science specialisms to coding to Fantasy Share Trading.

We strive to create an environment where students feel valued and part of a community. This culture breaks down barriers and creates a space that students never want to leave. A Flexible Approach to Sixth Form Boarding

We also offer a range of boarding options, from flexi to full-time, giving students the opportunity to develop greater independence, confidence and gain life skills while enjoying the support of a welcoming community. Boarding also gives you the option to study beyond the school day or take advantage of Langley’s 100 acre campus in Norfolk.

Your Sixth Form Centre is at the hub of the campus and it’s where you can study privately, speak freely and, vitally, start the dreams that will shape your future.

Our goal is to prepare students for whatever life has in store for them, and we do this in several ways.

We know many students find themselves questioning their next steps, as the end of Sixth Form marks a significant change in their lives. Many consider university, apprenticeships, gap years or going straight into work. No matter how far along you are in your decision, we are here to provide support, whether that is an initial conversation, perfecting your CV or preparing for an interview. Let’s do this together.

Through our students own academic excellence and our support they are able to explore opportunities and go on futures befitting their skills. Some of our recent highlights include Evelyn who is traveling to America to further their education and Kalan going on to study law in hopes of becoming a solicitor or barrister. Recent Sixth Form pupils have also progressed to studying Mechanical Engineering at university, beginning a Childcare apprenticeship and playing professional football alongside further academic studies. These varied destinations reflect the breadth of pathways available to our pupils and the support we provide to help each young person move confidently towards their future.
