“We couldn’t be happier with the nursery and love everything about it, including the brilliant team who know our children and family so well. All three of our children have always really enjoyed coming to nursery and they confidently run through the door with an excited grin.

“We love that personality and character is encouraged. At the end of the day, we get a full debrief of their day. Educational play is evident as our daughter is starting to write her name and can hold a pencil well. She can count and knows shapes and colours. Having lunch all together has helped develop table manners and independence.

“The time the children spend at the nursery is a real benefit to them and it has without a doubt been a big contributor in their development into happy and confident children, and we are very grateful.”

“All staff have always been so caring and loving. They are also fantastic in identifying the unique needs and the interests of every child. The communication is great. My son has some hearing loss and difficulty in pronunciation due to it. From the very beginning, the Nursery Manager Meg arranged for a speech and language therapist to make an assessment, and they all work very hard to support him.

“I will finish with another example of what a great nurturing place it is. My son, who is now in Year 1, was with me to pick up his brother. While waiting, he started telling Deputy Manager Kym about the book he started writing. Kym offered him her full attention and promised to buy one of his books when it is ready. The confidence and joy this gave him cannot be measured. And this is what the staff in Bluebell Nursery do day in and day out; nurture strong, confident, happy children.”

“Now almost three, our son has been in the Bluebell Nursery setting since he was eight months olds; starting in Seedlings, then Oaks and soon to be in Woodlands. He has always attended four days a week. The Bluebell Nursery team has provided first-class care and education for him since the very beginning.

“Every member of the team (including senior management) goes out of their way to learn about each individual child, their interests, and their life outside of nursery. The team know farm life and the outdoors is a key part of our son’s childhood, and the space and freedom he has to enjoy these things while at nursery is brilliant. I often hear about riding tractors in the garden or digging holes in the mud pit! It’s like home away from home. Our son loves all the time spent outdoors in the beautiful grounds and chasing friends in the sports hall. It is clear the approach to childcare and education at Langley is holistic.

“The team has consistently worked with us to meet each one of our son’s needs, as he has developed through key milestones (e.g. weaning, learning to walk, talking, mark-making, playing with peers, trying hard to follow instructions!). The team listens and helps him to feel safe and happy while he learns.

“Our son is always happy at drop-off and pick-up, and nowadays we hear excited tales of his day in the car all the way home! When you look around and see all the children happy, having fun and being so very well cared for – this is truly testament to the brilliant team and all their hard work.”
