We are here to nurture talent at ages 10 to 18 with a number of entries points into Langley Football Academy:
Year 6-8 (ages 10-13)
Pupils will enter on a hybrid model of four LFA sessions a fortnight alongside their academic studies.
Year 9 (age 13)
Pupils follow an academic programme of Maths, English, English Literature and the Sciences, plus five optional subjects of which the LFA is one. LFA pupils will have their football specific LFA training across eight sessions a fortnight during the school day.
Year 10-11 (ages 14-16)
Pupils study for eight GCSEs made up of Maths, English, Physical Education and four free choices from a wide range of subjects including Sciences, Languages, Humanities, the Arts and Technology, of which the LFA is one. LFA pupils will have their football specific LFA training across eight sessions a fortnight in Year 10, and ten sessions in Year 11.
Sixth Form (age 16)
LFA students will have their football specific LFA training across twelve sessions a fortnight alongside studying for either A Levels or BTEC qualifications. Options include studying for the BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Sports Performance and Excellence or a wide range of A Level subjects, including Business Studies and Psychology. Work experience opportunities are available throughout the two-year programme. The LFA is also a subject option alongside 2 or 3 A Levels.
International Students
We warmly welcome international students to Langley and we have a dedicated English as an Additional Language department, consisting of highly qualified teachers including one teacher from mainland China, all offered in a friendly and inclusive environment. For the older students we offer individualised IELTS courses in preparation for university entrance.
