Outdoor art to boost Prep wellbeing

For Mental Health Awareness Week, Prep pupils swapped the classroom for the outdoors during their Art lesson. Surrounded by nature, which is known to aid mental wellbeing, Year 7 pupils got creative with the fresh air around them and blossom trees above them. Their task was to design a coat of arms for the school’s centenary year, as we celebrate 100 years of education at Taverham Hall, and we look forward to seeing the final designs.
Year 4 pupils were also able to enjoy the benefits of outdoor learning, and took this opportunity to sketch the gargoyles on the front of the Prep School building.
