Nursery looks at floating versus sinking

This week, our Nursery children have been exploring floating and sinking. Pupils in both Acorn and Oak classes enjoyed making predictions and experimenting to see which items sink or float.

Rudy said, “They are floating because they’ve got air.”

To continue on with their theme of ‘Under the sea,’ the children in Oak class demonstrated fantastic counting skills when counting sea creatures and matching with the appropriate numeral. Well done everyone!
