My name is Emily Chatten and my job role is Transition Teaching Assistant!

Where did you join Langley from/what was your previous role?

I have joined Langley from a retail background, my previous role was working with an independent clothes retailer in the Norwich lanes. However, I have been volunteering at Langley since May 2021.

Tell us a little bit about yourself and your new role at Langley…

I am currently studying for my Early Years foundation degree with hopes to continue to gain a full BA degree in childhood education, so my role working with the transition class is beneficial to my professional development and studies.

What are you most looking forward to in your new role at Langley?

I’m really looking forward to spending time with the children in the outdoor learning area – as this is an interest of mine.

Any hobbies/interests outside of school?

My hobbies include bouldering at the local climbing centre, hiking, camping and being in nature!

I am the second Miss Chatten to work at this school, my sister worked here for 5 years within Early Years and Pre-Prep.
