Meet the Team: Sabina Lozinschi, Transition Teaching Assistant

Name & Job Title

Sabina Lozinschi, Transition Teaching Assistant

Where did you join Langley from/what was your previous role?

I have been working as a PE teacher and Teaching assistant for Teach LTD.

Tell us a little bit about yourself and your new role at Langley…

I would describe myself as a perfectionist, who is also persistent and friendly person. I love children, teamwork, and long journeys. I am a qualified teacher with a BA in Physical Education, a Master’s degree in Management and Marketing and a member of the IDTA Dance Teachers Association.

I have been in Norwich for over two years, but I grew up in the city where I was born, Targu-Mures in Romania, in a family with values, where work and love were prioritised. This year, I got married a wonderful man.

In my new position as a Transition Group Teaching Assistant at Langley, I would say that, I am enthralled by the fact that I am working with a highly dedicated and well-trained staff. Secondly, I enjoy working with children, especially those of a young age like this class, as I am able to see their daily progress, how they develop positive skills through play, how they learn to socialise, and how they discover and apply innovative things. I am enthusiastic about my career as a teaching assistant because life is a gift, that must be passed along by educating new generations.

What are you most looking forward to in your new role at Langley?

As an assistant teacher, I am totally involved in what I do every day, especially supporting the children. Creating new pattern for them to develop learning abilities through playing and implementing new routines. I am looking forward to encourage the creativity of each child and I am here to share the values of the Langley School, as best as possible. Also as part of my duty is to assist the teacher in all planned activities and ensuring that we have a well-organized and well-structured lessons, and with this great team, everything goes in the right direction.

Any hobbies/interests outside of school?

I have always been attracted by dancing, music and traveling.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself.

I can’t literally be able to tell a joke, because I am laughing too loudly before I can say it.
