Year 3 experience Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure

Year 3 classes recently had the great pleasure of a day trip to Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure. On a scorching hot day, the children came prepared with sun cream, a hat and a water bottle, ready for lots of fun. Thanks to Miss Temple’s wonderful organisation, the children could sample all the park had to offer. On arrival, some pupils braved the Valley of the Dinosaurs and the T-Rex, and others went to the Lost World for some intrepid adventuring.

A highlight of the morning session for 3S was the crazy golf, as I am sure it was for 3T in the afternoon. Some of the holes were incredibly difficult, and some fabulous shots played, not so many by Mr Thornett.

Just before our lunch, we had the opportunity to try out the Splash Zone, which was just what we needed! The children loved it, not surprising given the various fountains to squirt water and Dippy’s massive bucket, which always drew a crowd.

After lunch, the classes reversed routes to be able to sample the whole park. All in all, it was a fabulous day out enjoyed by all. Many thanks to Miss Temple for her organisation, the kitchen staff for a yummy lunch and the children for being excellent ambassadors for Langley Prep.
