Year 7 pupils perform ‘Flour Babies’

In July, Year 7 performed their end-of-year production of ‘Flour Babies’.

Pupils only had one term to rehearse and learn all their lines, which was no easy task. They performed the play confidently and maturely and coped with the demands of some difficult themes within the subtext.

Two students volunteered to be the lighting and sound technicians for the play and responsibly managed their cues.

Charly Nash, Drama and English Teacher, said: “The play was a great success, and Year 7 enjoyed sharing their performance with their parents! Well done, Year 7!”
