Now in its 14th year, The Langley U15 National Rugby Festival has quickly established itself as one of the premier age-group rugby events in the country. Bringing together some of the strongest school sides from across England and beyond, the festival provides an outstanding platform for players to challenge themselves against top-quality opposition in a competitive yet enjoyable environment. As the festival continues to grow, it remains a celebration of schoolboy rugby, creating memorable experiences for players, coaches, and supporters alike while showcasing the very best of the game.

  • Hosted each year by Langley School in Norfolk, the U15 National Rugby Festival history dates back to 2013, when Eton College lifted the Cup. Most recently, excluding 2020 when COVID prevented play, winners have been:

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Please check the final event itinerary for team arrival times, kick-off times, and the expected finish of the tournament. Gates open at 09:00.

  • The festival will take place at Langley School (NR14 6BJ). Visitors should follow event signage and directions from stewards upon arrival. Please note, there is no direct access from the A146. You must enter via Chedgrave.

  • Yes, designated parking areas will be available. Please follow the directions of parking marshals and park only in authorised areas. Our Sixth Form prefect team will be assisting with parking.

  • There is no charge for parking, however our Sixth Form Team will be on hand and asking for cash donations for their chosen Charity, one of which will be Papryus, in memory of much-loved pupil Adriana.

  • A site map and fixture schedule will be available on arrival to download in our programme, showing pitch locations and match timings.

  • Yes, parents, guardians, family members and supporters are welcome to attend and support the teams. The more the merrier!!

  • No, there is no admission fee however advance booking of tickets is recommended.

  • Yes, several street food outlets will be available throughout the day, offering refreshments for players and spectators. The Langley Arms will also be open, serving beers, wines, soft drinks and snacks.

  • Visitors are normally welcome to bring their own refreshments, although glass containers should be avoided for safety reasons.

  • Yes, visitor toilets will be clearly signposted around the festival venue.

  • The festival will proceed wherever it is safe to do so. Any changes, delays or cancellations will be communicated by the organisers.

  • Limited indoor and covered areas will be available. Visitors are encouraged to bring appropriate clothing for all weather conditions.

  • Yes, dogs are permitted, however we ask that you refrain from allowing dogs on to playing surfaces. Owners should ensure they clear up after pets.

  • Yes, qualified first aid personnel will be present throughout the event. However, all teams should expect to have their own first aider on their coaching staff and be prepared to take pupils off site for medical attention, if required.

  • Please contact the nearest steward, member of staff, or first aider immediately.

  • Official photographs and/or video footage may be taken. Parents should notify their team manager if they have any concerns regarding photography permissions.

  • Yes, but visitors are encouraged to respect safeguarding guidance and avoid identifying children by full name unless appropriate permissions have been given.

  • Changing facilities will be available for participating teams. Details will be provided on arrival.

  • Yes, any lost items should be handed to or collected from The Langley Arms.

  • Results and league tables will be displayed throughout the day and/or communicated via the event organisers.
