29th April 2026
On Friday 24th April 2026, Wrens proudly held their House Charity Day in support of the East Anglian Air Ambulance. We were incredibly fortunate to welcome members of the charity’s team into the school, including a doctor, paramedic, helicopter pilot and support staff.

Pupils from Reception to Year 8 began the day with a fascinating and informative assembly, learning about each role and how the EAAA supports our local community. They then took part in vital CPR sessions and enjoyed an exciting tour of the Critical Care Car brought along by the team. Nursery pupils also loved exploring the car and meeting the charity’s mascot, Helibob!

Pupils across Pre-Prep and Prep also came together to donate their spare coppers by completing a challenge to fill as many helicopters as possible at break time!
To mark the day, pupils came to school dressed as their heroes – celebrating not only the heroic work of the charity, but also recognising their own personal heroes.
A huge thank you to the East Anglian Air Ambulance for spending the morning with us and for the incredible, life‑saving work you do every day. Wrens have been honoured to support you as our House Charity this year.
