Our Vision

To transform young lives through the Langley Journey, by enabling every child to thrive, contribute positively to society, and leave us with confidence and care for others.

We are committed to preparing our pupils for the challenges and opportunities of an ever-changing world, nurturing the essential qualities of creativity, resilience and adaptability alongside academic achievement. Through this, we empower young people to lead with purpose and make a positive difference in the communities they serve.

Our Mission

To provide a balanced curriculum that prepares young people for life beyond Langley; fostering a love of learning and providing rich opportunities inside and outside the classroom.

Our Core Values

At Langley, we believe in the power of opportunity and the pursuit of excellence for every pupil. Our core values – kindness, confidence (with humility), curiosity and integrity – underpin all aspects of school life, shaping a culture where every child is empowered to explore, engage, and excel.

Rooted in our Church of England foundation, Langley is a fully inclusive community that warmly welcomes and celebrates individuals of all faiths and none. We are also proud to be an Armed Forces-friendly organisation, having pledged our support through the Armed Forces Covenant and achieved Bronze status in the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS).

Kindness

We nurture a culture of kindness where respect, empathy and compassion guide everyday actions. Pupils learn to value one another, build positive relationships and contribute to a supportive community in which everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.

Confidence

We empower pupils to grow in confidence, encouraging them to believe in their abilities and embrace new challenges. Through support and opportunity, they develop self-assurance, independence and the courage to express themselves and take pride in their achievements.

Curiosity

We foster a spirit of curiosity that inspires pupils to ask questions, explore ideas and engage deeply with the world around them. A love of learning is cultivated through discovery, creativity and intellectual risk-taking, both inside and beyond the classroom.

Our vision is simple
